Hello hellooo my beautiful people! So I know that you all have been waiting terribly long for my blog updates (haha just kidding I even forgot about this and you probably did too) and let me just say... YES. It is back. I am back. My mind is back. My fingers are typing. The world is somewhat good yet terrible (really though, what's changed drastically is that Donald Trump is president, but the world is still as racist as ever). I am writing again!! Woohoooooo~ 

So I have decided that after this five year hiatus, I am going to continue on with my journey of finding myself through others. Along with my adventures of thrill seeking identity discovery, I have decided to dedicate this post to interviewing a special someone in my once-lonely, boring life. Yes--you've got it (or probably not): MY BOYFRIEND!!!!!!!

Now, you see, as I am typing this masterpiece, he is sitting literally right next to me and stalking my
every move (which makes this even more authentic right?!). Well folks, this is one helluva long introduction, but now I will address the topic we will be asking this week?

How does being in a relationship change the way you have perceived yourself and others around you? How has this been a way of self-discovery?

the boyfriend: I have focused more on making myself more appealing to you in a way... I try to be as best as I can be for me and you. Yeah. I love you. Well, I am not perfect. I don't think anyone is perfect so I've kinda seen that I do have to work on things about myself. Um, I don't know, I have... I guess, *starts snickering because he is watching a movie* um, what was it again?

the boyfriend: To answer the perception about other people, I don't really care about other people. It's my relationship b****. I don't really know how to answer that honestly. I don't know how it's change me. Like I love you. It's pretty much it. It's hard to answer that one.

Howdy y'aalll!

So it's been a l o n g time since I have blogged (mostly because of my busy schedule with school in the way), but I will never abandon writing my posts! As of now, with so much going on in my life, I really need to write all about it to express everything.

Going back onto the topic of my awesome journalist-type-interview-thingy, the deep, meaningful question of this "Finding Myself Through Others" series is:

So I normally don't express myself in the public at all, but in actuality, I feel so depressed right now that it just doesn't even make sense to hide it anymore. The stress of reality and my nearing towards a "future" has just been making me scared and crappy this entire time.

Every little thing is starting to get under my skin, and my emotions have just been running wild. I'm so sad that my past, cheery self is chained into a tower of gloom in my heart. I feel empty all the time. People may think of me now differently, but you know what? Think what you think. I've bottled up so many unhappy feelings that I'm just tired of keeping them screwed on tight. Yes, I do not like the current "me," but will I always hate myself? No. I want to grow as an individual and knock down all the little evil spores that pollute my life.

So in short, I wanted to just share my feelings and say that I'm sorry for being such a disdainful, cynical, horrible daughter and friend right now, but I hope to become happier and grow to enjoy life. Literally, the only thing keeping me sane might just be my group of crazy Kpop fans, but I seriously do appreciate the love they give me.

To anyone that might be feeling the same way, let us overcome our weird, teenage, unstable hormones and life together!

Hiya! 

So for my next few posts, I want to try to do a little experimenting. Just to begin with a little background information, from the moment I crawled out of this wretched world, I have always been indecisive. O yes, I am that person who spends 10 minutes pacing back and forth in front of the door at Chipotle to decide which food-daddy will impregnate me with a burrito-baby. *sigh*  I also admit to being that other person who takes forever to shop because I can never like how an article of clothing looks on me until I do 50 Johnny Bravo poses (throwback to the 90's childhood!).

Okay, all jokes aside, now that I'm a junior, I should be getting my life together and thinking deeper about my future... right? Riiight. In all honestly, I'm a clueless piece of garbage that just lives in the present instead of the future. How great!


In order to (hopefully) discover myself and the interests I want to pursue, and redeem my uselessness, I have decided to interview others on various "got-me-feelin-some-type-of-way" questions about humanity and themselves. Through this project, I hope to reveal the many different unique individuals that thrive among us in society, and ultimately answer my own questions, myself, thoughtfully.

Since fetus Ada days, my peers have always asked me questions like, "Are you Asian or Chinese (lol)?," or "Do you eat rice everyday?" Well, finally, I'm gonna be debunking these myths!

Okay, because I'm super lazy, I'm going to list this.

1. Chinese is a category of "Asian." Just like how Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Pakistani, etc. people are still Asian but more specific to their region and culture.

*Shock!* I know right?

2. Strict Asian parents are not so much of a myth. The thing is, Asian parents do care a whole lot about grades, upbringing, respect, and pretty much anything about their children's future. I know that whenever I talk about my future, the conversation pretty much goes like this:

Me: "Hey dad! I think I might want to do journalism!"

Dad: ... *first couple of seconds*
Dad: ... *30 seconds later*
Dad: *one minute later* "Mui mui (my nickname), you so dum dum. Why not be tha doctor?! Joornarist no good. Business okay. Doctor the best."

Me: *sighs and heads back to room*

Great, right? But don't get me started on the talk of boyfriends!

Me: *watching K-drama* WOW, Lee Jong-hyun is so handsome! He can marry me anyday ( ͡~ ͜ʖ ͡°)  (any WGM watchers??)

Dad: ... No boifren!!! You 23 first!

Me: *sighs and heads back to room once again*

3. Yes, I do eat rice mostly everyday. BUT! Unlike all of y'all's thoughts, it is accommodated with the most delicious side dishes *-*! Prepare your saliva as I show all the delicious foods I get to eat.





4. No, not all Asians are good at math! Okay, well, a majority of Asians may be good at everything, but hey, there are always a few that suck (me).
